About Me

During my second year as a College Basketball Coach the Athletic Director asked me if I also would be the Strength and Conditioning Coach since I had a background and education for the job. So I excepted that once I left coaching I moved to Dallas, TX to become a Trainer and started my own business and gym in 2007. I have had a true passion for fitness and health so it was the right move for me to make.

My college degree is in Exercise Psychology and a Masters in Sports Management. I also have around 20+ Fitness Certification's with the most recognized being the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) and Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES). I also own and teach a school for people that want to receive their NASM Certification with about 60+ trainers in DFW have been taught under myself.

In 2014 I was introduced to the Ketogenic Diet and I was totally hooked on the science behind the diet. I took 2 years studying the diet and asking other Trainers, Doctors, Nutritionists and Sports Trainers how they applied it or if they even believe in the diet. After seeing many studies and using it on myself and my clients, I was convinced this is the future of health. So in 2016 I starting my Keto Coaching program and I have helped 100's of people find a healthy lifestyle now.

As Keto studies have developed we have seen that Keto can be used in Sports Training and Body Building. I have trained many people for contest but one concern I have with competing on stage is the after math of putting your body through so much nutritional change that it can be harmful. But what we have found is using Keto as a way to prep for a competition is much healthier for the athlete. So this is why in 2019 I stated the National Athletic Keto Association or NAKA. This is the first and only Keto/Canivore Bodybuilding Competition in the world.
